Dear Storytelling-Fans,

our first StoryFusion MeetUp of 2019 will feature a very special guest: Filmmaker Des Doyle, best-known for his documentary “Showrunners: The Art Of Running A TV Show“. You might remember him as one of our guest lecturers in our MOOC “The Future of Storytelling“.

As always, our evening is dedicated to the art & love of storytelling as well as sharing inspiration by inviting storytellers we admire to learn about their approach & work.

Doors at the Microsoft Digital Eatery, Unter den Linden, Berlin, open at 7:30pm, with a talk and Q&A at 8pm, and time to mingle and share ideas afterwards. Entry is free, drinks and snacks are available at the bar.

We’re looking forward to seeing you!
Your StoryFusion-Team (Philipp, Doro, Julian & Chris)

Please make sure to RSVP on our MeetUp-page – http://bit.ly/StoryFusion_withDesDoyle – to save your space, as we can only host a limited amount of guests.

About Des Doyle:

Many people will know Des Doyle as the creator of “Showrunners: The Art Of Running A TV Show”, a unique look behind the scenes of many of the greatest TV shows currently being made in Hollywood and an intimate portrait of some of the people creating them.

Over his career, Des Doyle has been working as a director for documentaries, as well as a cinematographer. Among his best known works is the camera work for “It might get loud”, the documentary about some of the most famous rock guitarists in the world. Right now, he is developing a new project for Netflix.

Des Doyle will not only give us an insight into his own creative process, but also talk about the challenges of creating a story about the creation of stories.
